WM1-Ex Explosion Proof Stainless Steel Safety Interlock

IDEM’s WM1-Ex Explosion Proof Non Contact Switch is manufactured in Stainless Steel 316 with a mirror polished finish and has been designed to interlock hinged, sliding or removal guard doors or hatches.

The WM1-Ex comes equipped with highly reliable power reed switching elements, contacts de-rated and protected by internal fuses with high tolerance to guard misalignment.

All electrical switching contacts are fully encapsulated within the switch and have a Stainless Steel 316 back plate to prevent tampering with the internal components.

Manufactured with a magnetic sensing system which provides a wide sensing distance and provides a high tolerance to misalignment after sensing. The WM1-Ex can be fitted behind stainless steel fittings and can operate in extreme environments of temperature and moisture.

WM1-Ex is supplied fitted with Stainless Steel flexible cable, pre-wired with 5M or 10M cable and 2NC 1NO circuits.
